These Terms & Conditions apply when you use navepress.com or purchase products from Nave Press. By placing an order through the website, you agree to these terms. Nothing in these terms excludes, restricts or modifies any rights or remedies that cannot lawfully be excluded, including rights under the Australian Consumer Law.
About Nave Press
Nave Press is an independent publisher and online bookseller. Our books are sold through this website and are printed and fulfilled on demand through third-party fulfilment providers, including Lulu Direct.
Products and descriptions
We aim to describe and display our books accurately. Minor differences may occur between images shown on screen and the physical product, including differences in colour caused by displays or normal print-production tolerances.
Product availability may change. Because books are printed on demand, an item shown as available on the website may still be affected by temporary production, material or fulfilment constraints.
Prices and payment
Prices on the Nave Press website are shown in Australian dollars (AUD) unless stated otherwise. Shipping charges are shown separately at cart or checkout before you place your order.
Payments are processed through our supported payment providers, including Stripe and supported digital wallets. Your order is subject to successful payment authorisation.
If a price or other material product information is displayed incorrectly because of a genuine technical or administrative error, we may contact you to correct the order before fulfilment. If we cannot fulfil an order you have already paid for, we will provide an appropriate refund.
Orders
After you place an order, you should receive an order confirmation at the email address provided during checkout. Please check your order details carefully, including the products, quantities and delivery address.
We may decline or cancel an order where reasonably necessary, for example if payment is not authorised, a product cannot be fulfilled, the order contains an obvious pricing or system error, or we reasonably suspect fraud or misuse. If we cancel an order after payment has been taken, the amount paid for the cancelled order will be refunded.
Printing, fulfilment and shipping
Nave Press books are printed and fulfilled on demand through Lulu Direct. Production and delivery times are estimates and may vary because of demand, print-facility capacity, carrier delays, holidays, destination and other circumstances outside our direct control.
Nave Press currently ships within Australia. Shipping methods, charges, order-change information and details about delayed, missing, damaged or defective orders are set out in our Shipping & Returns policy.
Delivery information
You are responsible for providing complete and accurate delivery information at checkout. If you notice an error, contact us as soon as possible. We cannot guarantee that an address can be changed after an order has entered production or fulfilment.
Risk associated with delivery will be handled in accordance with applicable law and our obligations as the seller. If your order is missing, damaged or delivered incorrectly, contact Nave Press so we can investigate and provide any remedy that applies.
Cancellations, returns and refunds
Because our books are printed on demand for each order, we do not generally offer cancellations, exchanges or refunds for change of mind or incorrect selections once an order has entered production.
This change-of-mind policy does not affect your rights under the Australian Consumer Law. If a product is faulty, damaged, not of acceptable quality, does not match its description, or otherwise fails to meet an applicable consumer guarantee, you may be entitled to a remedy. Australian Consumer Law
Our goods come with consumer guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law where that law applies. Depending on the circumstances and whether a failure is major or minor, remedies may include a repair, replacement, refund or other remedy required by law.
Nothing in these Terms & Conditions is intended to limit a consumer guarantee or any other right or remedy that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited.
Intellectual property
Unless otherwise stated, the content of this website, including text, branding, graphics, page design and other website material, is owned by or licensed to Nave Press and is protected by applicable intellectual-property laws.
Purchasing a book gives you ownership of the physical copy you purchase. It does not transfer copyright or other intellectual-property rights in the book or its contents. You must not reproduce, distribute, republish or commercially exploit protected material except as permitted by law or with permission from the relevant rights holder.
Acceptable use of the website
You must not deliberately misuse the website, interfere with its operation or security, attempt unauthorised access, use automated means in a way that materially disrupts the service, or use the website for unlawful or fraudulent activity.
Website availability and third-party services

These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws applicable in Victoria, Australia, and the laws of the Commonwealth of Australia. Nothing in this clause limits any rights you may have under laws that apply to you and cannot be excluded by agreement.
